iFilm TV to start airing ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’

Iranian series ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’ has been scheduled to be aired by iFilm English TV Channel.

Airing of the series, produced by Ali Ladoni and directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, will commence on December 13, 2021.

The series narrates the historical events at the turn of the twentieth century when Iran is ruled by the decrepit Qajar Monarchy.

The weak-willed Shah of Iran continuously gives concessions to colonial powers, and is surrounded by traitors who collaborate with England to turn Iran into a servant state.

Among the cast members of the series are Akbar Abdi, Shahram Abdoli, Mohammad Sadeqi, Reza Rouygari, Iraj Rad, Mohammad Motee, Hessam Navvab-Safavi, the late Jamshid Mashayekhi, Azita Hajiyan, Tina Pakravan, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Changiz Vosouqi, Daryoush Kardan, Saeed Sheikhzadeh, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Yousef Sayyadi, and Zahir Yari.

‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’, produced in 2009, is to replace the series ‘Heads on Gallows’ to be broadcast at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’ is comprised of 21 segments.
