Yazd’s Zeinoddin Caravanserai in photos

Iranian city of Yazd is home to numerous historical sites and houses which are amazing attractions for tourists.

Zeinoddin Caravanserai is a four-centuries-old site made on the occasion of a meeting between Shah Abbas and then ruler of Kerman Province.

The caravanserai that is renovated to host tourists, has a Safavid-era architecture which reminds the guests of the lifestyle of people living some 400 years ago.

At that time, the caravanserai was a place for armed soldiers and guards.

It is believed that the caravanserai is the only circular structure of Iran on the Silk Road.
