Maximilian is to reveal monotheism in iFilm TV’s historical series ‘The Men of Angelos’.

Maximilian will reveal his belief in monotheism in the presence of the Roman emperor at the court of the governor of Philadelphia.

“There is no god in this world other than the Creator of heaven and earth; the God of Abraham, the God of Noah, the God of Moses, the God of David and Solomon, the God of Christ, and the God of the last prophet, the praised one,” Maximilian says.

Don't miss the ninth episode of the 18-part series on iFilm TV tonight at 23:00 GMT, and you can watch it now via the channel’s website.

Each episode will be replayed the next day at 05:00, 11:00, and 17:00, except Saturdays.

Directed by the late Farajollah Salahshour, the series tells “the story of a group of men deeply troubled by the way their faith is being tainted by false beliefs and the spread of atheism.

“They live in an age when the faithful are going astray. They try to use their influence to change things, but in the end, the men of Angelos are forced to flee rather than surrender to tyranny. They take refuge in a cave outside of town and sleep out of exhaustion. The next day or so they wake up in an entirely different era,” reads a synopsis for the TV series.

The series' cast members include Reza Tavakkoli, Jafar Dehqan, Mahtab Keramati, and Hossein Yari.
