Keramati, Mahtab (born October 17, 1970, Tehran)
Mahtab Keramati Sheikholeslami holds a degree in Microbiology from the Islamic Azad University. She was attending acting courses when she was chosen for the role of Helen in 'The Men of Angelos' (1997).
She found fame with this series and went on to appear in films such as 'Mummy III' (1999) and 'The Rain Man' (1999) for which she won a nom at Fajr International Film Festival.
She also appeared in series such as 'Saint Mary' (2000) and 'Crimson Soil' (2001) and the films 'Hell, Purgatory, Heaven' (2008), 'There Are Things You Don’t Know' and 'Alzheimer’s' (2010). She won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for '20' (2008).
In 2006, she was appointed as UNICEF National Ambassador in Iran.
