iFilm English TV to air ‘The Empty House’

iFilm English TV has been scheduled to air ‘The Empty House’ on Saturday night.

The movie, produced and directed by Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh, reviews the story of a newspaper footnote writer who has challenges to adapt his writing with the modern style.

When others, including his wife and one of his students try to help him overcome the challenge, he quits the job and stops writing.

Being jobless and running out of money, he has to deal with more financial challenges now. This is when a new woman enters his life and silver linings start to shine in the sky.

The cast list includes the late Morteza Ahmadi, the late Ezzatollah Entezami, the late Nikou Kheradmand, Reza Rouygari, and Fatemeh Goudarzi.

‘The Empty House’, made in 1991, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
