Let’s watch a trailer of iFilm English TV’s weekend movie ‘The Empty House’.

The movie, produced and directed by Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh, reviews the story of a newspaper footnote writer who has challenges to adapt his writing to the modern style.

When others, including his wife and one of his students, try to help him overcome the challenge, he quits the job and stops writing.

Being jobless and running out of money, he has to deal with more financial challenges now. This is when a new woman enters his life and silver linings start to shine in the sky.

The cast list includes the late Morteza Ahmadi, the late Ezzatollah Entezami, the late Nikou Kheradmand, Reza Rouygari, Jahangir Frouhar, and Fatemeh Goudarzi.

The movie received a number of nominations at the Fajr Film Festival in 1991 and won two awards for best actor in a leading role (Entezami) and best actor in a supporting role (Frouhar).
