Governor to imprison men of God in cave in ‘The Men of Angelos’

Governor of Philadelphia is to imprison the men of God in cave in iFilm English TV’s historical series ‘The Men of Angelos’.

Six advisers of the royal court denounced the roman religion and refused to worship the emperor. They converted to the religion of Prophet Jesus.

They ran away from the roman prison and hid in a cave in Mount Angelos. But the guards of the emperor found them and imprisoned them in the cave.

Directed by the late Farajollah Salahshour, the series tells “the story of a group of men deeply troubled by the way their faith is being tainted by false beliefs and the spread of atheism.”

“They live in an age when the faithful are going astray. They try to use their influence to change things, but in the end, the men of Angelos are forced to flee rather than surrender to tyranny. They take refuge in a cave outside of town and sleep out of exhaustion. The next day or so they wake up in an entirely different era,” reads a synopsis for the TV series.

The cast members of the series include Reza Tavakkoli, Jafar Dehqan, Mahtab Keramati, and Hossein Yari.
