Men of cave to wake up in ‘The Men of Angelos’

Men of cave are to wake up in iFilm TV’s historical series ‘The Men of Angelos’.

A long time after being imprisoned in the cave in Mount Angelos, the advisers of the royal court who denounced the roman religion, refused to worship the emperor, and converted to the religion of Prophet Jesus, are waking up. They will soon go to Philadelphia to find out more about their strange feelings.

Don't miss the fifteenth episode of the 18-part series on iFilm TV tonight at 23:00 GMT, and you can watch it now via the channel’s website.

Each episode will be replayed the next day at 05:00, 11:00, 17:00, except Saturdays.

Directed by the late Farajollah Salahshour, the series tells “the story of a group of men deeply troubled by the way their faith is being tainted by false beliefs and the spread of atheism.”

“They live in an age when the faithful are going astray. They try to use their influence to change things, but in the end, the men of Angelos are forced to flee rather than surrender to tyranny. They take refuge in a cave outside of town and sleep out of exhaustion. The next day or so they wake up in an entirely different era,” reads a synopsis for the TV series.

The cast members of the series include Reza Tavakkoli, Jafar Dehqan, Mahtab Keramati, and Hossein Yari.
