Sattar Khan to make heart-wrenching decision

Iranian national hero is to leave the love of his life in tonight episode of iFilm’s brand new period drama ‘Sattar Khan’.

Following the invitation of the constitutional government, Sattar Khan decides to leave Tabriz to move to Tehran after consulting with the scholars of Najaf and asks for their opinion.

However, this trip is not a normal one as he knows that there is no return to his loved ones. So, he is forced to make the toughest decision of his life and divorce the woman, who had stood by him through all the hardships.

He does not want his young spouse to be at risk while he is away. Besides, Fatemeh is free to live her own life if he would not come back.

“Set against the backdrop of Iran's tumultuous history, the series delves into the final years of the revered Sattar Khan's life, an iconic figure that played a pivotal role in shaping the nation's destiny and emerged as a beloved national hero,” a brief synopsis of the show reads.

Notable among the cast members of the series are Saeed Nikpour, Reza Fayazi and Dariush Kardan, Pendar Akbari, Behzad Khodaveisi and Sam Qaribian.

The series comes to you every night at 23:00 GMT. You can also watch each episode the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.
