High stakes, moral dilemmas unfold in ‘Next Door Neighbors'

The 22nd episode of iFilm series 'Next Door Neighbors 1', to be aired at 19:00 GMT tonight (22:30 Tehran time), is to show how the residents of the luxury villa are to face and handle intense moral dilemmas and high-stakes situations.

In this episode, we delve deeper into the lives of Mahnaz and Bahram, a couple navigating the complex web of everyday challenges. Mahnaz, an esteemed employee at the football federation, finds herself entangled in a series of events that test her integrity and strength.

Bahram, always on the lookout for quick financial gains, stumbles upon a German footballer who has a unique request. Desperate to secure a place on the national team in the host country, the footballer seeks Mahnaz's assistance. However, Mahnaz remains steadfast in her commitment to ethical principles and refuses to partake in any illegal activities.

Undeterred, Bahram and their neighbors devise various strategies to manipulate Mahnaz's emotions and sway her decision. Will they succeed in playing with her feelings and convincing her to compromise her values?

In their most desperate attempt yet, they reveal a heart-wrenching scenario involving Shptim's mother, who urgently needs dialysis treatment. With the family's financial situation at stake, they emphasize that Shptim must undertake the task to earn money and support his family back home.

As the tension rises, the question lingers: Will Mahnaz succumb to the mounting pressure and abandon her own wishes, or will she stand firm and defy the odds?

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 03:00, 08:00, 14:00 (all GMT times). It is comprised of 48 episodes.

It tells the story of a few families that give all their life savings to Mr. Moshiri to build houses for them, but things go wrong for Mr. Moshiri and they end up spending the New Year holidays in a mansion as next-door neighbors.

Among the cast list are Pejman Jamshidi, Roya Teymourian, Homayoun Ershadi, Farhad Ayish, Vishka Asayesh, Gohar Kheirandish, Azadeh Samadi, and Reza Naji.
