The 24th episode of iFilm period drama 'Passing through the Hardships', airing tonight at 23:00 GMT (2:30 Tehran time), is to unravel the poignant journey of Donya and Hamid as they navigate love, resilience, and newfound hope.

After enduring immense sorrow and heartbreak, Donya, a widow with a son, embarks on a fresh chapter of her life.

Escaping a loveless marriage imposed by her employer, she returns to her village in search of solace and tranquility. Little did she know that Hamid, who had long cherished her, would once again enter her life, presenting an unexpected chance for love and happiness.

However, the path to their union is not without obstacles. Hamid's family, bound by traditions, insists on a single, unmarried daughter-in-law. Donya set a condition: if Hamid can secure his family's consent, she will marry him.

After years of unwavering determination, Hamid finds himself at the doorstep of Donya's father, ready to ask for her hand in marriage.

Yet, the journey is far from over. In a surprising twist, Donya unveils two additional conditions during the proposal. What could these conditions be?

Among the cast members of the flick are Pejman Bazeghi, Bijan Emkanian, Mehran Rajabi, Payam Dehkordi and the late Iranian actress Mahchehreh Khalili.
