iFilm English to premiere 'Brother'

iFilm English Channel is to screen 'Brother'.

iFilm English Channel is set to captivate audiences with the highly anticipated series 'Brother' directed by the talented Javad Afshar.

Premiering on June 29, 2023, this compelling drama delves into the lives of a family torn apart by conflicting ideals and a shocking revelation.

The story revolves around Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a respected and reputable merchant in Tehran's bustling rice bazaar. Haj Kazem staunchly supports domestic production and trades exclusively in Iranian rice, embodying his unwavering commitment to his homeland. However, his unwavering principles clash with the mindset of his discontented son, Naser, who prioritizes profit above all else.

Simultaneously, Haj Kazem's daughter, Maryam, a passionate and determined young journalist, embarks on her own investigation. She delves into the disturbing presence of expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. As her search for the truth unfolds, Maryam is left stunned when all the evidence points to her very own brother, Naser.

What follows is a gripping power struggle between good and evil, where the boundaries of loyalty and morality are tested.

'Brother' weaves a captivating tale of love, sacrifice, and redemption, forcing the characters to confront their deepest fears and secrets.

The series features an ensemble cast of renowned actors, including Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Pouriya Poursorkh, Hassan Pourshirazi, Majid Vasheqani, Hossein Yari, Soheila Razavi, Kazem Balouchi, Kaveh Khoda-Shenas, and Mehrdad Ziaee.

Replacing the popular series 'It's All There,' 'Brother' will air at 21:00 GMT, with three additional broadcasts scheduled for the following day at 02:00, 06:00, and 13:00 (all GMT times).

Don't miss out on this thought-provoking series, exclusively on iFilm English Channel.
