'Coast Guard' takes the spotlight on screen

iFilm English TV is set to broadcast the series 'Coast Guard' starting today, July 5, 2023.

This police-themed series, directed by Mohsen Shah-Mohammadi and produced by Houman Kabiri, was created in 2005.

The story takes place in a port located in southern Iran, where Akbar Amini, a successful factory owner, mysteriously disappears.

His daughter and son-in-law, who recently got married, travel from Tehran to search for him, but they find themselves entangled with smugglers and drug dealers along the way.

Enter Thouban Esmaeeli, a police officer who enters the scene to investigate the disappearance.

The series features a talented cast including Linda Kiani, Akbar Zanjanpour, Enayat Bakhshi, Iraj Rad, Hadis Fouladvand, Soheila Razavi, Elham Pavehnejad, Ahmad Najafi, Keyvan Mahmoudnezhad, Ali Mardaneh, Bahram Ebrahimi, Ali Ashkan, and Farideh Garmsari.

'Coast Guard' will be replacing the series 'The Safe' and will air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Additionally, iFilm English will repeat each episode of 'Coast Guard' the following day at 01:00, 07:00, and 12:00 (all GMT times).

The series consists of 13 episodes in total.
