A desperate search: An iFilm exclusive cut from ‘Coast Guard’

In the 7th episode of iFilm’s police-themed series 'Coast Guard', to be aired at 20:00 GMT tonight, Officer Esmaeeli finds himself embroiled in a personal crisis as he searches desperately for his son, who has fled their home due to his strict officer father's disapproval of his marriage to his beloved Nayyereh.

This tumultuous situation becomes even more complex when Officer Esmaeeli exposes Nayyereh's captain father for smuggling goods into the port, further intensifying the family's predicament.

The story takes place in a port located in southern Iran, where Akbar Amini, a successful factory owner, mysteriously disappears.

His daughter and son-in-law, who recently got married, travel from Tehran to search for him, but they find themselves entangled with smugglers and drug dealers along the way.

Enter Thouban Esmaeeli, a police officer who enters the scene to investigate the disappearance.

The series features a talented cast including Linda Kiani, Akbar Zanjanpour, Enayat Bakhshi, Iraj Rad, Hadis Fouladvand, Soheila Razavi, Elham Pavehnejad, Ahmad Najafi, Keyvan Mahmoudnezhad, Ali Mardaneh, Bahram Ebrahimi, Ali Ashkan, and Farideh Garmsari.

The 13-episode 'Coast Guard' airs daily at 20:00 GMT.
