'The Patriarch' to premiere on iFilm TV

iFilm English TV channel gears up to broadcast the popular series 'The Patriarch', commencing from this Tuesday evening.

In response to overwhelming demand, the 22-episode drama, directed by Akbar Khajouee, is set to grace the screens every Tuesday evening at 20:00 GMT.

For the convenience of its audience, each episode of the series will be re-aired three times on the following day after the original screening. The timings for the repeat broadcasts are scheduled at 01:00, 07:00, and 12:00, all in GMT.

'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah. He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.

None dare to challenge or question him, and even his adult children, after they are married and have families of their own, remain under his watchful eye.

However, the dynamics of the family begin to shift when his youngest son, Nasser, prepares to get married, and his future bride refuses to accept Assdollah's terms.

Starring the talents of late Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Katayoun Riahi, Jamileh Sheykhi, Akram Mohammadi, and the late Hamideh Kheirabadi, 'The Patriarch' promises an unforgettable viewing experience.

This series will take the place of the previously aired 'The Tenth Night' directed by Hassan Fathi.
