An irking wedding condition in ‘The Patriarch’: iFilm cut

Azar’s condition to marry Nasser is to live independently from his parents in iFilm English TV’s series 'The Patriarch'.

In iFilm English TV's series 'The Patriarch', to be aired at 20:00 GMT, Azar sets a condition to marry Nasser: they must live independently from his parents.

Azar and Nasser embark on a journey of marriage, dreaming of a new life filled with independence and excitement. Little do they know that their aspirations will send shockwaves through every member of their family, turning their world upside down.

In contrast to the other family members who have always accepted the patriarch's decisions without question, Azar stands apart, determined to assert her own ideas and carve her path in life.

The clash begins as Assdollah Khan, the father, will not stomach her discord and see her approach as a disrespect to her elders.

Directed by Akbar Khajouee, the 22-episode drama, hits the small screen every evening at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the show will come to you three times the next day after the original screening at 01:00, 07:00, and 12:00, all in GMT.

'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah. He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.

None dare to challenge or question him, and even his adult children, after they are married and have families of their own, remain under his watchful eye.

However, the dynamics of the family begin to shift when his youngest son, Nasser, prepares to get married, and his future bride refuses to accept Assdollah's terms.
