Azar to madden Assdollah again in ‘The Patriarch’

Azar repeats that they are not going to live in Assdollah’s house. Therefore, Assdollah gets enflamed again and Azar leaves the house.

Consequently, Assdollah tells his son Nasser that Azar is his wife when she comes and lives in his house. Otherwise, their marriage is over.

Directed by Akbar Khajouee, 'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah.

He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.

None dare to challenge or question him, and even his adult children, after they are married and have families of their own, remain under his watchful eye.

However, the dynamics of the family begin to shift when his youngest son, Nasser, prepares to get married, and his future bride refuses to accept Assdollah's terms.
