Feeling betrayed by his children is to enrage Assdollah in iFilm English TV's series 'The Patriarch', to be aired at 20:00 GMT.

Assdollah’s fury was the most expected feeling to emerge out of a father whose fatherhood was questioned by his own children. He had devoted all his life to providing for his family, hoping to have their love and respect for him and also for one another.

'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah. He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.

None dare to challenge or question him, and even his adult children, after they are married and have families of their own, remain under his watchful eye.

However, the dynamics of the family begin to shift when his youngest son, Nasser, prepares to get married, and his future bride refuses to accept Assdollah's terms.

Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Katayoun Riahi, Jamileh Sheykhi, Akram Mohammadi, and Hamideh Kheirabadi, comprise the cast members of the show.
