Son to regret disgracing father in ‘The Patriarch’: iFilm cut

Jalal is to get a guilty conscience over disgracing his father in tonight’s episode of 'The Patriarch'.

Jalal is to get a guilty conscience over disgracing his father in tonight’s episode of iFilm English TV's series 'The Patriarch', airing at 20:00 GMT.

After being disowned and kicked out of the house, as well as losing their jobs, Assdollah’s children, whose lives depend massively on their father, found themselves jobless and unable to make ends meet.

The new situation was to test the loyalty of the children, who had failed to show respect for the father that had always provided for them. It remained to be seen whether they would become repentant and seek his forgiveness or if their next wrong decisions would further worsen the already messy conditions.

Jalal and Akbar opt for the second choice, leading themselves down an irreversible path by filing a complaint against Assdollah. While Jalal will soon grapple with a guilty conscience over his decision, it remains uncertain if their actions will yield the desired outcome.

Directed by Akbar Khajouee, the 22-episode drama, airs every evening at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the show will come to you three times the next day after the original screening at 01:00, 07:00, and 12:00, all in GMT.

'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah. He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.
