Assdollah is grateful to Azar in ‘The Patriarch’

Assdollah admits that he is grateful to Azar in iFilm English TV’s ‘The Patriarch’.

“My other luck was meeting you. My dear Molouk, if I hadn’t married you, I don’t know what would’ve happened to me,” Assdollah says expressing his love for Molouk.

He also admits that he is grateful to Azar, because she opened up Assdollah’s eyes and taught him how to look at life and his children in a different way.

Directed by Akbar Khajouee, 'The Patriarch' is about an Iranian family under the firm grip of an old-fashioned patriarch, Assdollah.

He rules his family with unwavering authority, and his every word is treated as absolute law.

None dare to challenge or question him, and even his adult children, after they are married and have families of their own, remain under his watchful eye.

However, the dynamics of the family begin to shift when his youngest son, Nasser, prepares to get married, and his future bride refuses to accept Assdollah's terms.
