Placing costly trust in wrong person in 'Sometimes Look Back at Your Life': iFilm cut

In the 21st episode of ‘Sometimes Look Back at Your Life’, to be aired at 19:00 GMT, Mr. Tabesh will bear a steep price for his misplaced trust in the wrong person. 

For a while now, Mr. Tabesh and his family have been grappling with diverse forms of distress, yet they remain unable to pinpoint the underlying cause behind it all.

They are unable to realize that behind their moments of despair, there is a young man named Mohammad Reza Pouya, who seizes every opportunity to inflict harm upon them. He holds Tabesh responsible for the loss of his father and all the misfortunes that followed.

In tonight's episode of the show, Tabesh will once again find himself entangled in a fresh set of problems. This time, he receives a summons to the police station due to a bounced check bearing his name.

Will he eventually come to realize that his past is casting a shadow over his present?

Directed by Maziar Miri, the drama unfolds with Firouz and Mohtasham unearthing a valuable antique golden statue.

Tempted by its worth, they plan to smuggle it out of the country, disguised among humanitarian aid arranged by a certain Jalal Tabesh. However, fate takes a different turn as an accident occurs, and the statue vanishes without a trace.

Fast forward twenty-five years, Firouz's son, Mohammad-Reza, holds Jalal responsible for the statue's disappearance and the misfortunes that befell his family. Seeking revenge, he is determined to shatter everything Jalal holds dear.

Meanwhile, Jalal and his family remain unaware of the impending storm and strive to face their own challenges, unaware of the adversary they are about to confront.

iFilm English broadcasts ‘Sometimes Look Back at Your Life’, directed by Maziar Miri, every day at 19:00 GMT.

Each episode will be replayed the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 GMT.
