iFilm TV to reveal ‘The Last Invitation’

The first episode of iFilm English TV’s series ‘The Last Invitation’ has been scheduled to go on air on June 28, 2026.

The series, directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, is set in both the 7th century and the present day.

The leading character is kidnapped and left for dead, suspected of being in possession of important documents which could destroy the reputation of prominent figures in the town.

He is fighting with death and in his imagination he travels to the 7th century just before the Karbala event happens to Imam Hussein (AS), his family and his companions.

Meanwhile, the daughter of the man is searching for him in the present time.

The cast list includes Hamed Behdad, Elham Hamidi, Siavash Tahmoures, Shahram Abdoli, Faramarz Qaribian, Habib Dehqan-Nasab and Zohreh Hamidi.

‘The Last Invitation’, made in 2008, is scheduled to go on air at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.
