Dehqan-Nasab, Habib (born 1949, Shiraz)
Dehqan-Nasab was born in the historical city of Shiraz.
From an early age, he became interested in acting and was determined to enter this field.
He later pursued acting and directing at Tehran University. He started his career in 1967 with stage and voice acting.
In 1987, Dehqan-Nasab had his first cinematic break in the movie 'Exact Conditions' and subsequently appeared in several other films.
His performances in 'A Trip to Chazabeh' (1995) and 'The Burnt Generation' (1999) received critical acclaim.
Despite appearing in numerous movies, it was his role in the popular TV drama 'Under Your Protection' (1995) which brought him fame.
This veteran Iranian actor has been prolific in both cinema and TV; some of his works are, 'A Place of Love' (2000), 'Asleep and Awake' (2001), 'Third Sense' (2006), 'The Rise of Mokhtar' (2011) and 'The Recluse' (2014) as well as the movie 'The Bus' (2009).
