Latif to see his check eaten in ‘The Bounced Check’: iFilm cut

Latif will witness firsthand his check being eaten in iFilm English TV Channel’s comedy series ‘The Bounced Check’.

Following his release from prison, Latif found himself in an impossible situation of having to pay alimony to his ex-wife.

As the man cannot afford to do so, he will have to pursue his illegal career path, which was cashing the bounced checks for others and receiving a considerable amount of commission for it.

Yet, once as he was trying to do his job, the one who originally drew the check literally chew and swallowed it, leaving Latif in a more desperate situation than the past.  

The series, produced by Elham Ghafouri and directed by Sirous Moqaddam, is about Latif, a man who blames everyone except himself for the problems he has. He cannot keep a job and his family life is in shambles.

When he cannot come up with his ex-wife’s divorce settlement, he lands in jail. But things get much worse when he gets out.

The most notable among the cast are Amir Jafari, Houman Barqnavard, Rima Raminfar, Hedayat Hashemi, Bahareh Rahnama, Fariba Naderi, and Nahid Moslemi.

‘The Bounced Check’, made in 2011, airs daily at 18:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00. The series comprises 13 episodes.
