iFilm English TV to bid farewell to ‘The Doormat’

iFilm English TV Channel has been scheduled to air the final episode of ‘The Doormat’ on Sunday.

The final episode of the series, produced by Seyyed-Mahmoud Razavi and directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, will be aired on November 19, 2023, at 18:00 GMT.

‘The Doormat’ is a comedy series about ordinary people who try different ways to deal with problems in their daily lives.

Some of these very ordinary people go beyond and come up with some get-rich-quick schemes, with repercussions including illegal activities for family members and friends.

The most notable on the cast list are Shahin Taslimi, Behnam Tashakkor, Sima Tirandaz, Houman Barqnavard, Amir-Hossein Rostami, and Jamshid Mashayekhi.

‘The Doormat’ will be replaced by the series ‘The Honeymoon’ directed by Shahed Ahmadlou.
