Grandfather never lets Mehran marry anyone but Leila

In the seventh episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Playmate’, the grandfather never lets Mehran marry anyone but Leila.

The grandfather wants the best for his children. He believes Leila has been waiting to marry Mehran for seven years.

But Mehran doesn’t love Leila. He has sent his father, Mahmoud, to talk with the grandfather and convince him to let Mehran marry another girl named Ava.

However, the grandfather warns Mahmoud about taking any step for Mehran to marry any girl other than Leila.

Produced by Navid Mahmoudi and directed by Soroush Mohammadzadeh, each episode of the series is aired daily at 22:00 GMT and repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00.

In ‘Playmate’, Mehran and Leila are cousins who were childhood playmates.

Their grandfather has always insisted that they should marry each other, but now that they’re grown up, the two have different plans for their lives.

The cast list of the series includes Hossein Mehri, Diba Zahedi, Niloufar Koukhani, Amir Kazemi, Homayoun Ershadi, Ali Osivand, Maryam Momen, Atila Pesyani, Behnam Tashakkor, Iman Safa, Kamran Tafti and Kamand Amir-Soleymani.
