'Under the Blade' added to iFilm English playlist

iFilm English TV Channel is set to begin airing the series 'Under the Blade' on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, the 19-episode series will be shown daily at 22:00 GMT, with the exception of Saturdays.

The storyline follows Mahmoud's daughter and Jafar's son who are set to marry, but face opposition from Jafar's older brother Qodrat. When Mahmoud is falsely accused of theft and suspects Qodrat framed him, tensions rise between the families.

The series features a talented cast including Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Parviz Parastouee, Enayat Bakhshi, late Atila Pesyani, and Negar Javaheriyan.

Siavash Tahmoures, Ramin Rastad, Shabnam Moqaddami, Elham Hamidi, and Kourosh Tahami also make appearances.

'Under the Blade' will replace the series 'Playmate' on iFilm English TV. Each episode will be repeated the following day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
