Tahami, Kourosh (born April 24, 1971, Tehran)

Kourosh Tahami started off as a child actor. He first wanted to become a doctor to treat his sick grandmother, but in his teenage years he became infatuated with acting.

He received his BA in Theater from the Islamic Azad University.

Tahami has appeared in series such as ‘Saint Mary’ (2000), 'Lighter Than Darkness' (1999-2002), 'Love's Homework' (2003-2004), ‘Under the Blade’ (2006), 'The Weary-Hearted' (2009), 'Shams-ol-Emareh' (2009), 'Hereafter' (2010), ‘Heart of Ice’ (2010), 'Tabriz in Fog' (2010), and 'Autumn Evening' (2013).

He has also acted in movies, including ‘This Woman Won't Talk’ (2003), 'The Purple' (2004), ‘Vertigo’ (2006), ‘The Magical Generation’ (2006), 'Snow on a Hot Roof' (2010), and 'The Sinners' (2012).

He  won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2010 for ‘The Purple’.
