Her prayers could even change destiny in ‘Kimia’

In the twenty ninth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Kimia’, her mother’s prayers could even change destiny.

“I’m so glad that my father came back that day to say goodbye before he left. He could see all the concern in my mother’s eyes, because her heart was telling her that something was about to go wrong. But my father intended to go. At times like this, women have no choice but to say goodbye to their husbands; a goodbye with love; a love that always saves a family from difficulties and tragedies. I had faith in my mother’s prayers. I had so much faith that I knew her prayers could even change destiny,” Kimia says.

Produced by Mohammad-Reza Shafiee and directed by Javad Afshar, each episode of the series is aired daily at 22:00 GMT and repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00, and 16:00.

The 110-episode drama delves deep into significant events in Iran’s contemporary history through the life of its central character, Kimia Parsa.

The series chronicles the journey of Kimia, a young girl from Khorramshahr, as she navigates through some of the most pivotal moments in modern Iranian history.

From the reign of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, to the Islamic Revolution and the devastating Iran-Iraq war under Saddam Hussein, Kimia’s story is one of resilience amid hardship.

Despite the pain and sorrow she endures, Kimia’s hope and determination drive her forward.

The cast list includes renowned actors such as Azita Hajiyan, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Mehdi Soltani-Sarvestani, Gelareh Abbasi, Pouriya Poursorkh, Hassan Pourshirazi, Reza Kianian, Niki Karimi,  Mehdi Pakdel, and Amir-Hossein Arman.
