iFilm English TV to offer ‘The Stranger’

iFilm English TV Channel’s feature film ‘The Stranger’ has been scheduled to go on air on July 19, 2025.

The movie, directed by Rahman Rezaee, will be aired on Saturday night.

It follows the story of Bahram Partovi, the head of one of the municipality's districts.

He is very honest and upright in his work and has honesty worked his entire career.

One day, he is informed that he is retired; while his financial situation is not good because he has not been involved in any bribery or corruption all his life.

When he retires, his wife tells him that his pension is not enough to cover their living expenses and that he must go to work.

After searching for a decent job and facing many problems, his son-in-law takes him to his office to work there.

His son-in-law, Saeed, works in a construction company; where Partovi realizes that they expect him to make things easier for them because of his previous job in the municipality.

The cast list of the movie includes Akbar Abdi, Reza Rouygari, Mehdi Hashemi, Mahboubeh Bayat, Hossein Kasbian, Soroush Khalili, and Hossein Shahab.

‘The Stranger’, made in 1987, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
