iFilm English TV to offer ‘Watermelon for Yalda Night’

iFilm English TV Channel’s feature film ‘Watermelon for Yalda Night’ has been scheduled to go on air on December 20, 2025.

The movie, directed by Saeed Aqakhani, will be aired on Saturday night.

It tells the story of a very large watermelon's adventures on the Yalda Night.

A man buys and takes it home, but the watermelon doesn't end up there and continues its adventures to some other houses and places to narrate the stories that go on here and there.

The cast list of the movie includes Mohsen Tanabandeh, Amir Jafari, Abbas Jamshidifar, Maryam Amir-Jalali, Siamak Ansari, Amir Ghaffarmanesh, Nasser Gitijah, Roshanak Ajamian, Gelareh Abbasi, Shahram Qaedi, Reza Feiz-Norouzi, Mohsen Qazi-Moradi, Ahmad Pourmokhber, Reza Banafsheh-Khah, Mehran Ghafourian, and the director.

‘Watermelon for Yalda Night’, made in 2007, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
