Filmmaker Sasan Fallahfar has announced the completion of a three‑part docudrama about the founding father of Iran's missile power.
The series, themed on Hassan Tehrani‑Moqaddam, is titled 'The Eternal Man'.
Fallahfar, who previously directed the narrative feature 'Endless', an adaptation based on a real episode from Tehrani‑Moqaddam’s life, returned with a new approach to the story of martyrTehrani‑Moqaddam
In an interview with the local media, he said, “Hassan Tehrani‑Moqaddam’s personality is compelling for all of us. Even before [the al-Aqsa storm] on October 7, 2023 we had produced documentaries about his life and work. In the midst of those events, we made a 50‑minute narrative telefilm called Endless, which was very well received.”
He added that the actor in that production bore a striking resemblance to Tehrani‑Moqaddam in both appearance and demeanor, and that the team sought to present the story with a documentary sensibility.
Announcing the completion of 'The Eternal Man', Fallahfar said, “Following that experience, we began work on this three‑part docudrama, which presents a full biographical account of Hassan Tehrani‑Moqaddam.”
During production, the team gained access to previously unreleased archival footage.
Each episode runs approximately 50 minutes.
Reflecting on the filming process, Fallahfar recalled, “We made every effort to portray Tehrani‑Moqaddam's character and achievements as authentically as possible. I remember that while filming in a military barracks, many of the interviewees, people who had known him personally, would break down in tears as they spoke about him. The memories were still deeply emotional for them.”
