Ayatollah Sobhani led funeral prayers for Martyred Leader

Ayatollah Sheikh Jafar Sobhani has led the funeral prayers for Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and his family members on Sunday morning.

Millions of mourners gathered in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla this morning for the funeral prayers.

Due to the completion of the capacity of the interior of the prayer hall, all the doors of Mosalla were closed hours before the prayer over the body of the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The streets and passages surrounding the prayer hall were witnessing a large and dense presence of people who had come to bid farewell and say prayers for the martyred Imam.

Three more prayers will be said in Mosalla over body of Imam Khamenei and his martyred family members in the coming hours.

The family members include Martyr Dr. Mesbah-ol-Hoda Baqeri Kani, Martyr Seyyedeh Boshra Khamenei, Martyr Zahra Haddad Adel, and Martyr Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani [granddaughter of the Leader].
