iFilm English TV to bid farewell to ‘The Couples’

iFilm English TV Channel has been scheduled to air the final episode of ‘The Couples’ on Sunday.

The final episode of the series, codirected by Bijan Birang and Masoud Rassam, will be aired on October 11, 2026, at 22:00 GMT.

It tells the popular story of two couples who are supposed to be neighbors in the same apartment.

Kamal and Mahin are one of the two couples who are older; and Ali and Maryam are the other two couples who are younger.

Later, it turns out that Kamal is Maryam's uncle, which Maryam did not know about.

The story of the series is about the adventures and preoccupations of these neighbors.

The most notable on the cast list are Mehraneh Mahin-Torabi, Elham Pavehnejad, Ferdows Kaviani, Farhad Jam, Behrouz Baqaee, Parastou Golestani, Jafar Bozorgi, Jamileh Sheikhi, and Mahtaj Nojoumi.

‘The Couples’ will be replaced by the series ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’ made by Mehran Modiri.
