Despite his wife not being able to conceive a child after 20 years of marriage, Vahid who is a veteran of the Iraq-Iran war is happily married to Masoumeh. After years of prayers and longing, Masoumeh becomes pregnant but soon after Vahid is diagnosed with leukemia. More trouble comes Vahid’s way when his unruly childhood friend, Safa, comes back to the neighborhood with revenge on his mind. As Vahid grows weaker and weaker each day, Safa makes life even harder for him.
