Taqipour, Atash (born April 4, 1945, Khoy)
Taqipour has a diploma in literature and studied acting and directing at university.
He began his professional career in 1966 on stage by performing in ‘The Reign of Zaman Khan’, directed by Roknoddin Khosravi.
Some movies which he has appeared in include ‘Under the Rain’ (1984), ‘The Bride of Halabja’ (1990), ‘The Passengers’ (1991), ‘Pickpockets Don’t Go to Heaven’ (1991), 'The Tenant ' (1992), 'The Moon and the Sun' (1995), 'Great Escape' (1997), 'Daybreak' (2005), ‘Under the Peach Tree’ (2005) and ‘Mother Tongue’ (2010).
