iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘The Household’

The final episode for iFilm English TV Channel’s comedy series ‘The Household’ has been scheduled to be aired on Sunday.

The final part of the series, produced by Zeinab Taqvaee, written by Amir Baradaran and directed by Borzou Niknejad, will be aired on December 21, 2025, at 21:00 GMT.

It will also be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

The series tells the story of a university professor named Masoud who has long wanted to marry his cousin, Samaneh, but family disputes and the opposition of Samaneh's mother have prevented this marriage.

Meanwhile, the revelation of a secret about Masoud's past changes his life. It starts with showing the life of Masoud and his father.

He lives a healthy life, exercises, and is a candidate for the university faculty; although he avoids doing interviews.

The story of the series actually begins when, during Samaneh's proposal meeting, the father faints and later tells Masoud the truth in the hospital: he is not the real son of this family.

The cast list of the series includes Hessam Mahmoudi, Hassan Pourshirazi, Shohreh Lorestani, Afsaneh Bayegan, Maral Farjad, Atila Pesyani, Sepand Amir-Soleimani, Behnam Tashakkor, Shaqayeq Dehqan, Saeed Amir-Soleimani, Maryam Soltani, and Elham Akhavan.

‘The Household’, produced in 2020, will be replaced by iFilm TV’s ‘The Forgotten’ directed by Fereidoun Hassanpour.
