Hamedan

Tuyserkan, one of the cities of Iran’s province of Hamedan, is known as the capital of walnut as it has 5,500 hectares of walnut orchards.

The livelihoods of about 60 percent of the city’s population are directly or indirectly dependent on walnuts, also known as “green gold”.
