Iran’s Palangan village welcomes spring by celebrating Nowruz festivity, Persian New Year.  

Palangan village lies in the province of Kordestan. The village’s houses, which are built on the mountain slope, are arranged in a stair-step shape where the roof of one house serves as the upper house’s courtyard.
