Qom

Situated in the northeast of the city of Qom, Sultan Lake (called ‘Hoz Sultan’ in Persian) is also known as King Lake.

Several rivers entering the lake first pass through the salty and saline lands in the vicinity. One is hard pressed to find a single bird in the sky or other living creatures around due to the harsh environment.

With a height of 820 meters above sea level, Sultan Lake is like a large mirror in the center of Iran.
