Iranian short film 'Forouzan' is slated to vie at the Queen City Cinephiles in the US.
Directed by Abbas Khosravinejad, the short film is slated to be screened at the festival on June 12, 2018.
‘Forouzan’ narrates the story of a young woman whose husband has recently passed away.
She lives with her two young children in a village, and protects a herd of sheep against the night attacks by thieves.
Founded on April 7, 2017, the Queen City Cinephiles is a monthly film festival which is held in New York City, US.
Each show is a themed collection of (carefully curated) global independent films with lively discussions between moviegoers and film makers.
