Iranian film 'Rabidity' has received the credit to enter the home market of Iran.
Directed by Amir-Ahmad Ansari, the movie is set to go on home release soon.
The social drama is penned by Amir-Ali Mohsenin with a brief synopsis which reads, “I took a risk to make either all or nothing straight! I would do anything so that my kid won’t go down the same rat hole I was born and bred in.”
It is the story of two friends, Shahrokh and Siavash, who embark on a dangerous path.
When Shahrokh wins big by cheating, the losers give him 24 hours to either return the money or pay with his life. It is the beginning of a dangerous cat-and-mouse game between the two friends and the losers.
The movie compares the hardships the two friends encounter to rabies, a deadly virus that needs immediate treatment to prevent death.
‘Rabidity’ has Milad Keymaram, Hengameh Qaziani, Alireza Kamali, Jamshid Hashempour, Mina Sadati, Hossein Soleimani, Majid Vasheqani, Akbar Moazzezi and Asghar Tabasi in the cast.
