ifilm's sly as ’The Fox’ in review

ifilm's weekend offering for you is an action-packed spy thriller.

Behrouz Afkhami’s 'The Fox' is mainly famous for his top-notch chase scenes in his movies.

He has been able to skillfully apply his signature move in 'The Fox' too.

This is not the only strength of the film, though. Hamid Goudarzi, the star of the film, has brought gravity to the work with his brilliant portrayal of a naive man who is being manipulated to spy on.

ifilm viewers might remember the actor from several ifilm series such as 'Passenger from India', 'The Times', 'The Special Unit' and 'Cold Fever'.

The name of the film itself is symbolic too. While in western culture fox may stand for various concepts, the animal symbolizes a sly person in Iranian culture.

You could see how the name can give away some essential details about the plot of the film.

The story is fictional and whatever depicted in the flick is based on the creation of the writer. However, there are some indications to real people and perhaps to some real world entities and events.
