Italy to host Iran short

Iranian short film 'Chocolate' is slated to be screened at Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.

Directed and written by Mehdi Heidari, ‘Chocolate’ is to be screened at the Italian film event.

“A small boy in a village wants to get chocolate from an old woman every day.  To get to his goal he deceives the old woman by crying,” a short synopsis of the flick read.

Giffoni International Film Festival is the largest children’s film festival in Europe. More than 2,000 children attend the festival from 39 countries around the world.

During the festival, the children and teenagers watch the films, learn about the filmmaking process, and are called to judge them and award the best ones with prizes.

The 48th edition of the festival is scheduled to be held on July 20-28, 2018 in Italy.
