Iran short film ‘Blows With The Wind’ has been set to participate at the 2nd edition of Balkan Can Kino Film Festival in Greece.
Directed by Hazhir Asadi, the short animation is to be screened at the Greece film event.
'Blows with the Wind' narrates the story of a scarecrow that faces some unpleasant events. The scarecrow becomes human and breaks away from those situations.
On the way he sees two other scarecrows whose conditions are not better than that of him. Thus he is on the horns of a dilemma and must make a tough decision.
More than 20 international film festivals have so far hosted the animation ‘Blows with the Wind’ in 2018.
Launched in 2017, Balkan Can Kino is a space for new filmmakers and indie filmography.
Its aim is to shift from the focus on Hollywood and European cinema, representing a wider variety of communities and cultures.
The 2018 edition of the event is slated for July 4-31.
