Notable Iranian film ‘Istanbul Junction’ has been screened for hearing impaired audience with Persian subtitles and sign language.
In keeping with the spirit of inclusive approach in cinema, the new Iranian flick currently on the silver screen was screened at some theaters in the countries with tools aiding people with hearing impairment.
The first screening session catering for people with this type of disability was held at cinema hall in Iranian city of Shiraz which was a sold-out event.
The joint endeavor was possible thanks to the support of two national groups for deaf people as well as the flick’s producing team.
