Iran short film ‘Retouch’ has succeeded to win Best Short Film Award from the 16th edition of One Shot Film Festival in Armenia.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri and produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.
The film has so far participated in many international film festivals, winning several awards and nominations including the Best Fiction Short Film award at the 13th Traverse City Film Festival in the US.
Founded in 2003, One Shot International Short Film Festival is an open cinema platform to promote independent film productions from all around the world.
The 2018 edition of the event was held on June 4-10, in Yerevan, Armenia.
