First image out from ‘Gold’ film

Iranian flick ‘Gold’ has revealed first image of new offering from director of internationally acclaimed Iran film ‘Malaria’.

The image shows ‘A Cube of Sugar’ star Negar Javaheriyan who is a main cast member in Parviz Shahbazi’s new film produced by Rambod Javan, the husband of the actress.

The flick shooting stage which started last month is half way through, boasting a string of stars such as Houman Seyyedi and Tannaz Tabatabaee.

Iran actor Seyyedi has appeared in ifilm shows 'Mehrabad' and 'Hotline' while Iranian actress Tannaz Tabatabaee is well-known to ifilmers with the likes of ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ and ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ series.

‘Gold’ is predicted to be a box office draw due to the great cast and crew including Shahbazi whose previous work ‘Malaria’ focusing on Iranian youngsters screened at the Horizons section of the 73rd Venice International Film Festival in 2016.
