Iran Short Film event announces winners

2018 Iran Short Film Fest has announced lineup of winners.  

During the closing ceremony of the short film event which took place at Iran Cinema Museum, Peyman Nahan-Qodrati- the event director- said anyone who attended the festival was a winner noting that short films stand for big thoughts.

Before the ceremony began, Short Film Showcase at the Cinema Museum of Iran was inaugurated.

To pay homage to late great Ezzatollah Entezami, a short film about him was screened at the event.

The announced list of winners is as follows:

Best Director:

Mokammad Kart for 'Pedovore'

Best Script:

Arian Vazirdaftari for 'Like a Good Kid'

Best Cinematography:

Farshad Mohammadi for 'You are Here too'

Best Editing:

Mojtaba Esmaeilzadeh for 'Short Wave'

Best Sound Design:

Hossein Qourchian for 'Short Wave'

Best Set and Costume Design:

Saeid Hassanlou for 'Pedovore'

The closing ceremony was held on August 20, 2018.
