Iran film 'Orange Days' by Arash Lahooti is to screen at 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.
The film which is the director's debut feature will be screened at the Discovery section of the festival.
The film is about a tough female farm contractor who proves to be able to compete with male competitors. She leads the group of female workers who work for her on a large harvest.
Her efforts remain futile while anyone involved in her story tries to fail her.
Iranian award-winning actress Hediyeh Tehrani plays the role of the 40-year-old contractor- Aban in the film.
ifilm series 'The British Briefcase' star Ali Mossafa and Mehran Ahmadi who portrayed the villain role of Shakib in 'The Sound of Rain' are also among the cast of the flick.
TIFF aims to present the best of international and Canadian cinema as well as creating transformational experience for film enthusiasts and creators of all ages and backgrounds.
The 43rd edition of the cinematic event is slated for September 6-16, 2018.
